Steps
- 1First draw: 4 red out of 10 marbles, so P = 4/10.
- 2The marble is not replaced, so the bag now holds 3 red out of 9.
- 3Second draw: P = 3/9.
- 4Multiply the two dependent events: 4/10 x 3/9 = 12/90.
- 5Simplify: 12/90 = 2/15, which is about 13.3%.
