Solvecoon
vs Solvely

This is the closest match in the category. Both are browser extensions, both solve from a screenshot, both show steps. The differences are what happens on highlighted text, how broad the subject range is, and how each one talks about graded work.

Where Solvely is stronger

  • Edge support as well as Chrome, which we do not currently list.
  • A wide set of standalone web tools and calculators alongside the extension.
  • Finance coverage is called out explicitly, which we do not claim as a specialism.

Where Solvecoon is stronger

  • The selection toolbar: four actions on highlighted text, without taking a screenshot at all.
  • A published retention rule: the crop is discarded unless you opt into saving it.
  • Breadth beyond school, so the extension stays useful after the assignment is handed in.
  • A stated exam boundary, in the product and in the policy, rather than a marketing silence.

Which one should you install?

Pick Solvely if you want a homework-focused toolkit with a lot of standalone calculators, or you use Edge.

Pick Solvecoon if you want one shortcut that also works on the things that are not homework, and you care how the screenshot is handled.

Questions people ask

Are these two basically the same product?
The screenshot-solving part is very similar. The selection toolbar, the breadth beyond schoolwork, and the stated retention policy are where Solvecoon is different.
Does Solvecoon work on Canvas or Moodle?
It works on any page your browser renders, including those. We claim no integration with any LMS, and we do not support using it on graded quizzes.
Which is better for statistics?
Both cover it. If you want a library of standalone calculators next to the solver, that is their strength; if you want the working explained inside the page, that is ours.
Does Solvecoon work in Edge?
It is published for Chrome. Chromium browsers that install from the Chrome Web Store generally work, but Chrome is what we test and support.
