Steps
- 110% of 48 is 4.80, found by moving the decimal one place.
- 25% is half of 10%, so 2.40.
- 315% is 10% plus 5%: 4.80 + 2.40 = 7.20.
- 4Total: 48.00 + 7.20 = 55.20.
The 10 percent plus 5 percent trick works for any tip and needs no calculator. For 20%, double the 10%.

What it will not do
- It will not act on your selection until you click an action.
- It will not appear on pages where you have not selected anything.
- It will not work on text that is not real text. Use the snap shortcut for images and PDFs.
- It will not be used on graded assessments.

Questions people ask
- Does selecting text send it anywhere?
- No. Selecting shows the toolbar locally. The text is only sent when you pick an action, which is the moment you decide.
- Can I turn the toolbar off?
- Yes, in the extension settings, if you would rather only use the snap shortcut.
- What is in the overflow menu?
- The commodity actions: copy, search the web, and a grammar check. The four that Solvecoon is actually for stay in the pill.
- What if the page blocks selection?
- Use the snap shortcut instead. It reads pixels, so it works where selection is disabled.
